#368 Taiwan

Since there wasn't English writing on the card I asked Hsu, what building it is and he said: Great East Gate is one of eight gates in Tainan, Taiwan, but also the largest one. Great East Gate built on the Qing Dynasty (1788), in order to protect residents outside the city. On Republic of 43 years (1955), a large East Gate tower was destroyed by a typhoon, then gradually pour rotten; to the Republic of 64 years (1976), the government rebuilt according to the original form, is today seen large East Gate.

Thank you, Hsu Darvish !
