The Way of St. James or St. James' Way (Galician: O Camiño de Santiago, Spanish: El Camino de Santiago, Basque:Done Jakue bidea, French: Chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle, Portuguese: Caminho de Santiago, Italian: Il Cammino di Santiago di Compostela, German: der Jakobsweg, Dutch: Sint Jakobsroute, Polish: Droga Świętego Jakuba) is the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the apostle Saint James are buried.
